The Bold and the Beautiful: Who Will Taylor's Love Interest Be Upon Her Return?

Taylor Hayes is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful. As seen on the Tuesday, Aug. 6th episode, Taylor was revealed as the mystery woman in Monte Carlo. Former All My Children actress Rebecca Budig is now taking over the role of the world-renowned psychiatrist.

Taylor's return is a welcome surprise for fans, who wanted the character back. Her return will be exciting news for her daughter Steffy Forrester, but bad news for Brooke Logan. Taylor's longtime enemy Brooke will be upset to see her back and immediately suspect she's after Ridge Forrester.

According to spoilers, the show could be reigniting the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor love triangle. But it's something viewers don't want to see, especially since they know the outcome.

Ridge will choose Brooke like he always does, leaving Taylor heartbroken.

During Taylor's last appearance, she claimed she was ready to move on after being passed over for Brooke yet again. So with Taylor over Ridge, who could her new love interest be?

Taylor and Carter mix business with pleasure

There's not many available men on The Bold and the Beautiful. Bill Spencer is involved in a love triangle with Poppy Nozawa and his ex-wife Katie Logan. Meanwhile, Deacon Sharpe is happily married to Sheila Carter.

Taylor could always hook up with her former son-in-law Liam Spencer, but it's safe to say nobody wants to see that.

Out of all the other men, the other option is Carter Walton.

Carter once again found himself unlucky in love when Katie dumped him. However, his luck could change when he and Taylor become close acquaintances.

Since Steffy is having trouble with Brooke and Hope Logan at Forrester Creations, Taylor is going into protective mother mode. With Carter's assistance, Taylor could find some loophole that wouldn't give the Logan woman so much power.

Meanwhile, Taylor could offer Carter help in dealing with his romance issues. She could help him regain his confidence and in the process, feelings could develop between the two.

A Carter and Taylor romance would be interesting, plus it'd spark jealousy from Ridge seeing his ex-wife with his friend.

Could a new man be introduced for Taylor?

The Bold and the Beautiful is sometimes full of surprises, so they could introduce a new male character for Taylor.

While she was gone, she could've met a mystery man in Monte Carlo, who later joins her in Los Angeles.

Or she could met another doctor when she decides to reopen her practice.

Also, there's the possibility, the show could bring back one of Taylor's former love interests like Thorne Forrester or Pierce Peterson.
