The Young and the Restless is about to turn up the heat with a new twist in Victor’s ongoing schemes. After expressing his displeasure over the recent dungeon shutdown, Victor is ready to reconcile with Michael—on one condition. In the August 12 episode, Victor will propose a new mission for Michael that could shake up Genoa City.

Is Victor Targeting Billy or Someone Else?

Victor will be complaining about how Cole and Michael caused the dungeon to shut down once more. Even though Michael and Cole still think they made the right choice, Victor finds this offensive. Since Victor was clearly doing things his way, he did not appreciate Cole and Michael pressuring him to do something different. That being said, Jordan is now in a maximum-security prison, where she belongs. What is done is done.

Michael will genuinely try to make amends with Victor in the episode that airs on August 12 because that is all that is left to do. In the end, Victor will acknowledge that there is something that could help them mend their differences, and it will involve giving Michael a new assignment. Victor will look for assistance with that plan because Y&R viewers are aware that he is scheming to harm Billy.

Adam might naturally be affected by the fact that Chelsea slept with him in Baltimore and has been attempting to hide that night ever since. By using eavesdropping and spying techniques, will Michael be able to obtain information about Chelsea and Adam hitting the sheets? Will Michael alert Victor to that information after all his sleuthing and research?

If Victor finds out about Chelsea and Adam's illicit relationship, it might offer him an unexpected edge. Victor may be able to control Adam because of his tendency to use his family as leverage. This development could be beneficial to Victor. Adam might be more inclined to engage in unscrupulous behavior against Billy, and Jack, now that he would do almost anything to conceal that hookup.
