Should someone decide to ruin the festivities as a wedding crasher, that would be hilarious. After Lily caused the car accident that resulted in Hilary Curtis's death in 2018, it appeared as though Hilary Curtis passed away from her wounds.

On soap operas, things are not always as they seem, though! When soap operas want to change things up and inject some new drama, they rewrite their stories. Diane's return from the dead made no sense, but Y&R did it nonetheless! In a similar vein, they revised it to allow Victoria's dead baby girl to live, giving birth to Claire. There is no reason why Hilary's death can not be reversed by the show with an inventive justification.

Imagine how thrilling it would be if Hilary interrupted Devon's wedding because she wanted Abby to have him back. Hilary was a great character who is still missed today. Hilary might be able to share some amazing stories about how she managed to survive and where she has been for the entire period. If Y&R is unable to convince Mishael Morgan to sign a long-term contract, she may still return as Hilary for a sufficient amount of time to cause mayhem.

When Hilary leaves town to spend time with Amanda—her twin sister whom she was unaware she had—Devon may ultimately decide to go with Abby. Hilary Curtis Hamilton was always one of the most entertaining characters on the CBS soap opera, so it was probably a big mistake to kill him off.
