The Young and the Restless: Tara Returns, Kyle and Summer Custody Battle Gets Even More Complicated

The Young and the Restless reveals that Kyle has been fighting for his own child, Harrison, from his ex-girlfriend, Summer. Fans have debated whether Summer has any rights over Harrison, but one thing is certain: this is a stale storyline.

As The Young and the Restless gears up for another dramatic showdown, Kyle’s battle for custody of his son, Harrison, is about to take a shocking turn.

Just when it seemed the conflict between Kyle and his ex-girlfriend, Summer, was reaching a boiling point, a new and unexpected threat emerged from the shadows.

Custody Battle Chaos

Summer should let it go and give Kyle his biological son back. Hell, they weren't even married when they got together. It's shocking to imagine she'd battle so hard for Harrison.

However, Summer may not be Kyle's biggest concern in the near future, as we believe Tara may make a surprise comeback. When we last saw Tara, she was being arrested and hauled away.

We haven't seen or heard from her since, but it'd be intriguing if she got out of jail early and returned to Genoa City to visit her kid. Kyle would not only have to deal with Summer, but he could also partner up with her to block Tara from obtaining Harrison.

Tara, as Harrison's real mother, may have a lot of clout when it comes to his custody, even if she only recently got out of prison.

Tara’s Comeback

She could simply pull the rug out from under Summer and schedule supervised trips to see Harrison. If she stayed in Genoa City for a time, we believe it would even force Kyle and Summer back together.

If Tara returned and attempted to thrust herself into the center of Summer and Kyle's issue, Kyle may appreciate the interruption and reach an arrangement with her.

Summer would be enraged and would do everything to get rid of Tara. We've seen a lot of Phyllis come out of Summer recently, and if Tara was involved, Summer would go to any extent to get rid of her.
