'General Hospital' (GH) has revealed that the following two weeks will be loaded with drama and mystery as the writers hook up the pace on a handful of crucial storylines. There will be a couple of thrilling returns, with two famous figures returning to liven things up.

There will also be some fresh developments involving your favorite characters. As the summer comes to a close, the foundation is being prepared for a colorful and intriguing fall.

Lulu's situation will worsen. However, as we all know, Spencer doesn't go down easily. Laura will prepare Dante to say his goodbyes, and she will persuade Anna to find Valentin and Charlotte.

Port Charles Turmoil

Fortunately, the powers that be are seeking to recast Lulu, so don't break out your hankies. Meanwhile, in the middle of Kristina's unexpected arrest, Sonny assures his daughter that he will "take care of it." Hopefully, it will go via legal means.

Sonny makes an offer to Ava, which may indicate that the prosecution against Kristina will not get very far. Ric plans to return this week to assist his daughter, Molly, in dealing with the loss of her child.

Ric will most certainly blame Kristina for the baby's death, which will definitely fuel Molly's rage at Kristina. The ladies of Deception will be frightened if a Home & Heart appearance goes awry.

Blaze's unexpected departure may be related to the fact that her homophobic mother, Natalia, now works for the corporation.

Lucky will return to Port Charles during the following week, while Lulu's life hangs in the balance. Laura will undoubtedly feel as if this is Lucky's final chance to say goodbye to his sister.

Intense Weeks Ahead

Lucky has spent most of his life in Africa, and we may learn more about his background. It suggests that some of Jackson's next sequences will take place in Africa (the fictional Africa).

Elizabeth has raised Aiden alone since Lucky went missing. It'll be fascinating to witness the former first love exchange scenes. Lucky's homecoming will help the whole Spencer clan.

Ric will argue with Sonny, who will be less than pleased to see his estranged brother. The two will share some dramatic scenes as they take sides in the conflict between Kristina and Molly.

Nobody knows what the actual scenario will be, but Ric may have returned to assist Molly in pursuing legal action against Kristina for her daughter's terrible murder. Residents of Port Charles will be busy over the next few weeks as various plots come to fruition.
