The Bold and the Beautiful: Thomas' Return Further Complicates Hope's Love Life

Hope Logan has the hots for John "Finn" Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful. For the past few months, she's been fantasizing about Steffy Forrester's husband and growing closer to him. Hope's crush on Finn took an unexpected turn when she kissed him. Although she wanted to keep quiet about their liplock, Finn did the right thing and confessed to Steffy.

Now Steffy and Finn's world has been torn apart. After learning about the kiss, Steffy decided she needed time apart from Finn. But she found herself in danger upon discover Luna Nozawa's dangerous secret.

With Steffy missing, Hope could take the opportunity to get closer to Finn. However, her plan will be thwarted by her ex's return.

Thomas Forrester Returns To Help Find Steffy

According to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Finn and the Forresters are frantic over Steffy's sudden disappearance. The situation will have Taylor Hayes and Ridge Forrester wrought with worry. But they'll get some comfort when their son Thomas Forrester returns to help.

Thomas has always been a protective big brother, so if he thinks Steffy's in trouble, he'll come home to help. Although Thomas main focus is on his sister and his parents, he's bound to run into Hope.

Things will be awkward between the exes. Hope is upset with Thomas because of his engagement to Paris Buckingham. Meanwhile, Thomas will be furious to learn Hope kissed his brother-in-law and possibly destroyed Steffy's marriage.

The two will have a lot of pent-up emotions to unleash. Thomas will undoubtedly blast Hope for her behavior. When he returned in June, she was adamant she loved him and wanted to be with him. So for her to pursue Finn doesn't make any sense.

Hope's behavior will further reiterate Thomas' belief he did the best thing by moving on from her.

Hope Realizes She's Not Over Thomas

Fans have notices Hope's feelings are all over the place. One month she was chasing after Finn, then pursuing Thomas, then back to fantasizing about Finn.

So could she be back to square one with Thomas?

Thomas' return will have her feeling conflicted more than ever.

She didn't start her crush on Finn until Thomas left, and she blamed Steffy for breaking them up. Hope going after Finn could've been more as retaliation for Steffy interferring in her and Thomas' relationship.

Once Hope has some time alone to think and gather her thoughts, she'll realize she made a mistake going after Finn. She was lonely and lost after her breakup with Thomas; and Finn was the only one who showed her kindness. Yet, she mistook that friendship for something more.

Now she's broken up a marriage and ruined her reputation.

But Hope might have a shot at redemption if she helps rescue Steffy and save her marriage to Finn. Her actions could get her back into everyone's good graces, including Thomas.
