It has been months since Ashley began her treatment. Truly, it is the reason Traci and Alan became close. What happens to Ashley now that Traci and Alan are relocating to Genoa City on a permanent basis?

Ashley is presumably going to keep receiving care in Paris. It's likely that Alan will keep providing the Abbott family with updates as they become available. Ashley will, however, be freed eventually. Devon asked Abby to marry him, and she said yes. However, Abby acknowledged having reservations in a video conversation with Ashley.

Surprise for Abby and Devon’s Wedding

Ashley succeeded in comforting her daughter. It was intriguing, though, that Ashley declined Abby's request to pay her another visit. Ashley claimed to have a ton of work ahead of her, but there seemed to be something more going on.

Maybe Abby would grudgingly consent to marrying without her mother present. It would, however, be a bittersweet moment. Therefore, what would happen if Abby received the gift of a lifetime? Imagine that Devon and Abby's wedding is interrupted by someone. What happens if Ashley is that person? Soap fans would need something unexpected, but unexpected in a good way, right now. Drama is a must for any soap opera, but it is equally important to remember the touching and endearing moments.
