General Hospital: Sam Sacrifice for Lulu – Life and Death Drama in Port Charles

General Hospital Leak Sam will soon be no more. While not all fans agree on Monaco being written off the show, let alone potentially killed off, it is occurring.

In the ever-twisting world of General Hospital, a heartbreaking decision looms on the horizon, one that could forever alter the lives of those in Port Charles.

Now we must consider whether Sam is the angel who donates her life so that Lulu might return to her family.

When Laura informed Dante about Lulu's cirrhosis diagnosis and the necessity for a liver transplant, he and Sam expressed an urgent interest in being evaluated as possible donors.

Sam Steps Up

When Sam discovers she is a match, will she sacrifice herself to save Dante's ex-wife? Obviously, whoever turns up as a match for Lulu will be astonished.

No one expects to be picked — except maybe for Nikolas, who has been her donor before and didn’t end up qualifying this time around.

Sam might need some time to get her bearings, but she will quickly realize that even if she doesn’t want to do this, there is no clean way out of it.

How could she possibly deny Rocco the chance to see his mom again? How could she say no to Dante, Laura, or Charlotte? That’s right. She can’t.

Knowing there is no way out and that it is the right thing to do, Sam will likely step up to the plate and agree to donate her liver to Lulu. As Laura underlined to Nikolas, the donation procedure is not straightforward or risk-free.

Liver Transplant Twist

But Sam is in good health and has no reason to believe anything would go wrong. Nonetheless, being placed under might result in infection and other complications.

Some individuals never come back from it. Some fans speculate that Lulu may wake up after receiving a liver transplant, but Sam may remain in a coma this time.

A coma may be an easy method to alter around the plot, leaving Dante longing for Sam while she "sleeps" instead of Lulu, who is now alive and breathing in front of him.

At least, that's what we expect from her now that the part has been recast. But it's also feasible that Sam will be gone for good, as in dead.
