Sam’s Tragic Fate

Sam's children have two different dads, twin brothers who don't get along: Jason is Danny's, and Drew is Scout's. Drew is the one with the problem; jealousy of Carly turned him against his sibling; Jason has no resentment toward Drew.

While there may be Quartermaine relatives willing to assist raise Danny and Scout, let us not forget about their mother's side.

Kristina will most likely be unable to handle the two, and while Grandma Alexis would pitch, there is another option to consider. Despite their desire to have a baby to raise from birth, Molly and TJ already exist.

Drew clearly adores his daughter and Jason his son, and they are both half-siblings and half-cousins; this is unusual, but Molly is in a similar situation with Kristina.

Their fathers are half-brothers, hence they are both half-sisters and half-cousins. Molly may have an edge in understanding and mothering the two, but TJ may object to Jason working for Sonny, as Sam did in later years.

Broken Bonds

Everyone was upset with Jason at first for not calling them after he survived the tunnel collapse, but then the complete story was revealed.

Perhaps the ideal arrangement would be for the Davis and Quartermaine families to co-parent Danny and Scout, who will require as much loving support as they can possibly provide.

Whatever happens, Sam's death will be a heartbreaking situation all around.
