The Bold and the Beautiful: Luna Dad Mystery and Finn Race to Find Steffy

Luna is Poppy Nozawa's daughter and is said to have been fathered by the late Tom Starr. Luna, through Poppy, is Dr. Li Nozawa's niece and Dr. John Finnegan's adopted cousin.

Poppy is Dr. Li Finnegan's younger sister, Luna Nozawa's mother, and Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan's adopted aunt. She resides in the Bay Area of Los Angeles, California.

Luna and Poppy identify as "hippies" and "free spirits," as opposed to Li and her unknown father, who are characterized as "very driven."

Poppy, Luna, and the Mystery Man

Luna was introduced as she entered the family estate carrying materials for Eric and R.J. Forrester's new couture line, which they were secretly working on.

When Eric questioned partner Donna Logan why she picked Luna above all the other candidates, she said that she had never looked at her résumé, but when Luna arrived at the reception, they had a pleasant conversation and she made the choice.

However, while Eric, Donna, and R.J. believed they could trust Luna, the young woman received a phone call from Poppy, who was angry to find she was in Los Angeles and cautioned her to avoid the family.

Poppy had made numerous further calls, instructing Luna to abandon her internship and reminding her of what had happened to Li and Finn.

A Family Feud

Luna landed an internship at Forrester Creations, much to her family's displeasure, as a result of the repercussions from Finn's birth mother Sheila Carter, and her past/present connection with the Forrester family, notably surrounding Finn and wife Steffy Forrester's attempted murder.

Poppy has repeatedly begged Luna to stay away and abandon her internship. Luna and her mother, Poppy Nozawa, were eating at Il Giardino when Bill Spencer Jr. approached them.

He mentioned that he believes he knows Poppy from someplace. Poppy said she didn't know him, but later revealed she remembered him as the man she had a one-night encounter with at a music festival.

Poppy told Luna that Bill Spencer Jr. may be her father, and she was ecstatic. The DNA test verified it, and Bill invited Poppy and Luna to live into his mansion.

One day, a once homeless guy named Tom Starr came and began claiming to be Luna's true father. Poppy informed him that DNA tests indicated Bill is Luna's father, but Tom insisted that he, not Bill, is the father.
