General Hospital: Anna and Jason Steamy Romance Sets the Scene on Fire

'General Hospital' (GH) suggests Anna and Jason have surprising chemistry, and we're wondering whether there's a hot new pair on the way.

When Jason assists Anna in defeating Pikeman, the two look to have formed an alliance. They worked well together, and it was clear that they may have a spark.

Anna informs Jason that he deserves a better life than working for Sonny, and she warns him that she intends to put Sonny in prison.

Sparks Fly Between Jason and Anna

Jason is now assisting Sonny in removing evidence of his crime, such as the pistol used by the mafia leader to kill John.

Anna has a strong feeling that Sonny murdered Agent Cates, and she also believes Jason is assisting him. Anna recently asked Jason who she was dealing with (referring to himself).

She said that they had an alliance, but she could sense it was finished. The two of them made eye contact, and she seemed devastated when she remarked, "I thought we were becoming friends."

Jason assured Anna that he would not quit working for Sonny, but that they could continue to help each other because he still considered her a friend.

"I wish I felt the same," Anna said. Jason said, "Let me know when that changes." Anna replied she hoped it would.

The two of them appear to have a lot of feelings for one another, and it appears like this may turn into a romance. Janna is being praised on social media, with many claiming that the two have scorching chemistry.

Anna vs. Sonny

Jason even guarded Anna's secret that she let Valentin escape before he was imprisoned as the head of Pikeman. Even though Anna is the police commissioner, she ignores Valentin's flaws and still falls for him.

The same thing may happen to Jason. Despite being Sonny's mafia enforcer, there appears to be a developing attraction between them that is ready to surface.

Then there's the tension that comes with working for Sonny. It is bound to meddle. Even though Jason is eternally loyal to the dimpled don, he still wants to assist Anna.

Their unbreakable friendship softens Anna's stern exterior. Anna also attempted to defend Jason when Cates was ordering him about.

Will Sonny Get in the Way?

She appreciated his desire to protect Carly and assisted him in escaping John's custody. She knew Cates was misusing his authority and was just as outraged as Jason.

Then there's the Robin link. Years ago, Anna's daughter, Robin, had a love relationship with Jason. Robin was one of the first people, aside from Carly and Sonny, to overcome Jason's hesitation to approach anybody.

Jason couldn't trust anyone after his accident, which left him with brain impairment. This changed with Robin. Perhaps Jason and Anna have a similar bond.

The two are excellent as friends and possible lovers when they have scenes together.
