The Young and the Restless: Lily Plans Backfire as Victor True Intentions Are Revealed

According to Young and the Restless (Y&R), Lily is heavily involved in business plotting.

As it stands, she has turned to Victor to bring Billy down, but it appears that the aftermath of taking over Chancellor looks quite different to both The Moustache and Lily.

What will happen next? Y&R reminds followers that Lily is battling for her comfortable CEO position at Chancellor Industries.

She's aiming to persuade Victor to take over the corporation from Billy-boy, and then hand her the reins of the conglomerate.

Victor’s Power Play

Unfortunately, Nikki also wants that reward, and Victor needs to find a method to keep his wife away from Newman Media. Her feathers were ruffled when her husband chose his son, Adam, as CEO of the division.

That is until Victor informed her about his intentions for her and Chancellor. The major issue here is that the Moustache isn't forthright with Lily.

He's pleased with the facts she's bringing to the table to bring Billy down; but, he's not being truthful about where she'll end up once the dust settles, and Chancellor falls under the Newman Enterprises banner.

In classic soap opera form, Lily is certain to discover she has been misled at some time. It's likely to occur before The Moustache gets his hands on Chancellor.

Victor’s Secret Agenda

Lily has recently been plotting like crazy, which is unusual for her. Still, it appears that she snapped when she returned to Genoa City earlier this year and discovered Daniel had cheated on her.

Victor just spoke with Michael, and his lawyer mentioned that Lily would be disappointed to learn that she will not be nominated as Chancellor's CEO.

Victor dismissed it all as a "means to an end," and he believes that everything will be OK in the end. Nonetheless, supporters have a sense that something more is going on.

What if Lily learns of Victor's plans before all the "I's" and "T's" are crossed on this transaction?

Could she decide to jump ship, return to Billy, repent for all she's done, and provide him information on Victor so they can defeat The Moustache?
