Tom Quinn, a royal expert, believes Meghan Markle might become a member of the Royal Family again in specific circumstances. He thinks that to return, she would have to live in England and fulfill her royal obligations.

The Duchess of Sussex could return, but only if she did not ask too much of the Royal Family, according to the author of Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly.

Meghan could return, but she would have to start very quietly doing the things that the Royal Family does best, according to the author of Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly.

However, Quinn also mentioned that Meghan could not return if she expected an apology or demanded major changes from the Royal Family, as they were unlikely to agree to such requests.

"If she is asking for an apology or for the Royal Family to change entirely, I do not think she could return. "I don’t think they can not do it," stated the author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family, who is well-known for her work on the family.

    Royal Family's olive branch

The Sussexes are thought to have received an olive branch from the Royal Family. Three years later, Prince Harry was publicly wished a happy 40th birthday by Buckingham Palace. On platform X, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a message.

Where do Harry and Meghan live?

Meghan and Harry got married in 2018 after meeting in 2016. In January 2020, they resigned as senior royals. They were upset that Buckingham Palace had prevented them from creating their "SussexRoyal" brand and were enraged about media interference.

Harry is fifth in line for the throne and is still a prince.

Although they are no longer referred to as His or Her Royal Highness, (HRH). The couple has retained their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In addition, Harry has given up his military title.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex were the couple's two children when Harry's father Charles ascended to the throne.

In June 2020, Harry and Meghan relocated to California, citing their desire for space to raise Archie. The couple no longer officially resides in the UK. They were given notice at the start of 2023 to vacate Frogmore Cottage, a Grade-II listed residence on the Windsor estate.

According to documents submitted in April 2024, Harry's residence is in the US, not the UK.

It is believed that on June 29, 2023, the couple formally left Frogmore Cottage.

They’d be nuts to take her back. Cause she can’t afford herself anymore? Glad William will be in charge.
