Prince Harry Shares Rare Insight About Princess Lilibet at WellChild Awards

Prince Harry attended the poignant WellChild Awards in London, where he met inspirational children being recognized by the charity. While meeting one little boy, he revealed a sweet and very rare detail about his daughter, Princess Lilibet.

The Duke of Sussex, who traveled without his wife Meghan Markle, attended the ceremony in London. For 16 years, Harry has been a supporter of the organization organizing the event.

Now that he and his family had moved to America, he was looking at ease as he started one of the few events he stages in the UK.

The duke met seven-year-old Noah Nicholson – who has complex medical conditions. Despite having chronic lung disease, cerebral palsy, and other serious health conditions, Tracey Nicholson, Noah's mother, said her son is happy and optimistic.

The young child brought his most beloved cuddle toys, George the Cat and Ratty the Giraffe, which were shaped like blankets, and he loved tossing them to the ground. Harry remarked, referring to the blanket comforter as "lovey" in the American language after recognizing Ratty the Giraffe. "My daughter Lili has these Lovies," he added, revealing that his three-year-old daughter Lilibet enjoys the toys. Noah, a brain-damaged child who won the title of Most Inspirational Child between the ages of four and six, once grabbed Harry's beard and smiled.

Harry converses with a recipient of the WellChild Award

Harry has been a frequent attendee of the awards ceremony held by WellChild, a national charity that supports seriously ill children and their families, for over 15 years as the organization's patron. Following his meeting with the award winners and giving them their prizes, Harry went on to praise the honored individuals as "little legends" and discuss the ups and downs of parenting.

He said, the inspirational tales of young people overcoming adversity and leading hectic lives full of doctor visits, hospital stays, and endless appointments serve as a constant reminder of the resilience of the human spirit.

I always see a smile on the faces of the young people I meet, and they seem to bring warmth and positivity into every room they enter, even though for many of us it is an unthinkable part of daily life. So keep being you. You’ve got this. And we’ve got you.

"I have experienced the emotional rollercoaster of parenting once or twice as a parent! However, I am genuinely amazed by the amount of care that your parents, siblings, and other family members give.

"You are all amazing, and your devotion and love are truly heroic. And so it rests with me to remind you.

Will Prince Harry meet his brother during his visit?

Harry's visit to his homeland will no doubt raise speculation about whether he and his estranged brother, the Prince of Wales, will see one another, or if he will travel to Scotland to visit his father, the King.

Since they did not converse when they attended a family funeral in August, a brotherly reunion does seem unlikely.
