The Duke of Sussex reportedly took off on a hiking trip to celebrate his birthday and didn’t mention his wife in his message on social media

Despite being in the US on his 40th birthday, Prince Harry reportedly didn’t spend the night with Meghan, according to reports, and he is currently traveling alone. Rumors of Harry and Meghan's divorce are also rampant. The couple is not divorcing; rather, they are choosing different career paths.

Meghan was last seen before Harry's birthday. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly booked the trip for Harry to spend the night of his 40th birthday doing a hike on the Montecito Peak—part of the Cold Spring Trail in California. It is near Harry Meghan's mansion.

Harry's solo tour began shortly after his birthday and has been extended by several days. In addition, he has planned several private meetings. Reports claimed Harry and Meghan have been staying apart, and he was found moping around at a local cafe. It was when reports of his return to the Royal Family emerged. Harry reportedly experienced homesickness because Meghan was preoccupied with her Hollywood and business endeavors.

The couple's close friends refuted rumors that they were apart for long periods last year. It was said that, like any couple, they had disagreements but remained strong. According to reports, Meghan has become irate over Harry's legal battles in the UK regarding his security entitlement.

Rumors of Harry and Meghan spending time apart have put their relationship under investigation.

There have also been rumors that Meghan's illness forced her to postpone going to a charity function that she was supposed to attend with Harry. Since September 14, the day before Harry turned forty, the Duchess of Sussex has not been spotted.

Harry appears to be enjoying his charitable work in the interim, after returning to Africa.

Harry has been going to events in New York without Meghan, including a high-profile dinner hosted by the World Health Organization and a lone appearance at a landmine charity event for the Halo Trust, an organization that was dear to Harry's late mother Princess Diana.

Harry, a patron of the WellChild Awards for 16 years, attended the event during his most recent trip to London. During his speech, he greeted children with a smile and referred to them as "little legends."
