General Hospital: Heather Return Could Lead to Serious Problems

General Hospital (GH) hints that Heather could soon be released from Pentonville, but freedom may come at a dangerous cost. With Ric working to get her conviction overturned, Heather's dreams of bonding with Ace may finally come true.

However, her release could also make her a target in Port Charles.

Heather’s Enemies in Port Charles

The thought of leaving Pentonville and eventually being able to connect with Ace is all Heather can think about. With Ric on her side, Heather may soon get her dream granted. By falsifying Heather's test results, Portia attempted to prevent her release, but her scheme was not as successful as she had planned.

With Ava's assistance, Portia is now merely attempting to hide her dubious action and safeguard her career. It appears like Ric will finally succeed in having Heather's sentence reversed and her released from prison. But Heather should actually be concerned about what might occur to her if she gains her freedom. Heather is, after all, something of a pariah in Port Charles.

Heather is an obvious choice for a whodunit given the harm she has caused and the number of people who would be interested in getting even. It's not difficult to see Heather ending up in serious danger and losing her life.

There will be no shortage of suspects if the recently liberated Heather is hurt or even suffers a deadly consequence. To ensure that Heather never again harms Trina or anyone else, Portia may decide to take matters into her own hands.

Another possibility would be Ava, both for Trina's benefit and as payback for Heather having once cheated on her. Due to his relationship to Britt, both Brad and Liesl may be under suspicion. Of course, Sasha Gilmore is a must-consider as she has demonstrated that she can be driven over the edge.
