General Hospital: Isaiah Shocking Decision Could Save Lucky Sister!

General Hospital (GH) claims Isaiah is a transplant surgeon, however, he appears to be far over retirement age given his lack of enthusiasm in ever entering an operating room for a transplant.

Perhaps the last time he tried, things went horribly wrong.

That is unlikely to persuade him to return to the OR if the chances of Lulu surviving aren't excellent — and they can't be if her donor is still Lucky.

However, when he realizes how depressed his friend Lucky is, he may alter his perspective and even strive to change everyone else's.

Of course, that's not going to work, so how can anyone be certain he can pull it off?

Isaiah was just telling Lucky the other day how much he dislikes the idea of ever having another transplant procedure.

Whatever happened in his past, he has determined that path—which he most certainly fought hard to secure—is not for him.

Perhaps he was compelled to work in situations that resulted in terrible effects while trying to save lives in Africa.

Maybe he screwed up and ruined everything, and it was all his responsibility, no matter where he came from before meeting Lucky.

Regardless, viewers may be pleasantly surprised to learn that once Isaiah's back is against the wall and he realizes Lucky's sister is about to die, he may propose another alternative.

Will Dr. Gannon Risk It All to Save Lulu?

Is he certain he can execute the transplant in a way that is safe for Lulu despite Lucky's parasite infection?

Isaiah is a strong salesperson. But that does not imply he isn't real. It's unlikely that he's aiming to defraud anyone or hurt Lulu.

On the contrary, he may be privately scared that he cannot pull this off in the same manner that he claims she can.

What if this is the Spencers' last resort?

When they can't get GH or any other respected hospital to agree to their plan to transplant Lucky's liver — at least on paper — will they be able to get the resources to do it off the record?

We can bet that Lucky has the ability to make it happen.

Convincing Laura that this is the greatest option for her daughter's death might be challenging.
