The Young and the Restless (Y&R) suggests that Sharon could find herself leaning into her past romance with Chance as she navigates her current turmoil. With her situation becoming increasingly precarious, Sharon may consider using old feelings to manipulate Chance and protect herself.

Sharon’s Manipulative Streak

At some point, Sharon might need to draw on her past romance with Chance. Although Chance and Sharon's brief affair ended when she finally let him go, she was still able to take use of their past affections—or at least attempt to!

When Chance first asked Sharon about Heather, she already hinted at her previous relationship with him. It's obvious that Sharon's current mental state allows her to be highly manipulative.

As the plot develops, that pattern will persist; therefore we must speculate about Sharon's potential actions as her cover-up begins to fall apart. You can bet that Sharon will lose it and try all in her power to avoid being arrested herself.

Sharon has been putting a lot of effort into getting back together with Nick and rebuilding their family, but once things get out of hand, she may have to set those plans aside. Maybe Sharon will stop trying to win Nick over and concentrate on wooing Chance instead.

Although the police are currently focused on Daniel, Sharon will also receive unwanted attention. Of course, Chance won't give in to temptation simply because Sharon tries to woo him.
