Conway man opened fire at car after it passed him, report says
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - A Conway man is facing serious charges after he allegedly shot at a car passing by, according to police reports obtained by WMBF News. Horry County police arrested 21-year-old William Steppe on Tuesday and charged him with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Grand Strand Health Emergency Medicine residents went to “Alligator Adventure” on Tuesday to learn more about antivenoms. The residents are physicians who have completed medical school and are now in specialty training. They reviewed species in and around the Grand Strand that can cause serious injuries.

Incentive package of $13M lures Nipro headquarters to North Carolina

NCDHHS announces $11M investment in family-based behavioral health services for children with complex needs
RALEIGH — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services today announced an $11 million investment in treatment services designed to keep children who have complex behavioral health needs in homes and communities, and out of inappropriate boarding. The department is partnering with Rapid Resources for Families to expand access to family-based therapeutic programs, enabling children to receive trauma-informed treatment in a home-based setting.
