Project Developer Involved in Red River Flood Control Project Files New Disputes

The Red River Valley Alliance has reportedly submitted up to four new claims against the city, disputing the ban on epoxy-coated rebar in diversion channel structures. John Shockley, counsel for the Diversion Authority, says the developer is making aggressive claims that won’t hold up after review. It’s likely the dispute will now head to informal arbitration board, and there’s a possibility of civil litigation.
