Woman faces five felonies after alleged drug-induced assault
A Bloomfield woman is accused of assaulting two police officers, a fireman and a paramedic after threatening officers with a plastic knife. Farmington Police arrested Angela Seymour, 26, after a length struggle at the Farmington Inn, where police were dispatched at 2:11 p.m. July 12 in reference to the woman reportedly “hanging halfway over the railing,” according to the statement of probable cause.
Hotels Accused of Price Gouging During Ruidoso Wildfires
We were happy to report that the village of Ruidoso is finally allowing tourists to return. Not happy just for the tourists, but that Ruidoso survived (for the most part). With the immediate emergency over, the New Mexico Attorney General has pledged to look into allegations that some New Mexico hotels and motels were “price-gouging” evacuees.
