In-state 5-Star LB schedules Alabama visit
Anthony Jones is set to visit Alabama and Auburn this month. Jones is a 2026 linebacker prospect out of St. Paul’s Episcopal High School in Mobile, Alabama. He currently garners a five-star rating from multiple recruiting sites with offers from schools from around the country. The rising junior is set to visit the Auburn Tigers on July 27 and make his way to Tuscaloosa on July 28.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WLBT) - Alcorn State football has high expectations heading into the 2024 season. On Tuesday, despite entering his first year as the head coach of the Braves, Cedric Thomas and Alcorn have been predicted by the SWAC to win the western division, receiving 11 first-place votes. Alcorn State just missed out on a SWAC Championship appearance last season, finishing the year 7-4.
