HSEC Pet of the Week – Lovely Luna is a senior lady, but has a lot of love to give
Luna is a female Dachshund mix, ten-years old, 16 lbs. When she came to us, she was heartworm positive, needed spayed and was in bad need of a dental. She has been out in foster and only in our office as she went through her many Vet visits. She is now ready to find her forever home and she is a very sweet lady indeed. She is generally good with other dogs BUT can be very bossy and jealous of other dogs (especially over food/treats but not with us humans) so would be best as an only dog getting all the attention or maybe with one bigger than her. We were told she is great with children, she is also good with cats, and yes, she is housetrained.
