Unionville man killed after breaking into Oakland County home
A Unionville man is dead after he broke into the Oakland County home of his former girlfriend and was shot and killed by the woman’s stepson. According to a press release from Oakland County Sheriff Michael J. Bouchard, deputies responded to an initial report of a breaking and entering at a home in Orion Township about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Saginaw man charged with 10 CSCs against children
Having allegedly sexually assaulted at least two children between 2005 and 2018, a Saginaw man is lodged in the Midland County Jail on a $1 million cash bond. Scott Haught, 53, appearing in a wheelchair via Zoom, was arraigned before Midland County District Court Magistrate Gerald Ladwig Wednesday. He is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under 13; first-degree CSC relationship; four counts of second-degree CSC with a person under 13; and four counts of second-degree CSC relationship.
