Brunswick 13-16 stars go 1-2 in state tourney
The host Brunswick team ran into some strong competition in the Virginia Babe Ruth 13-16 year old tournament in Lawrenceville but fought hard to compile a 1-2 record. The team fell 14-2 to Lakeside, the defending state champions, in their opener before rallying to top Western Branch 9-7 in an elimination contest on Saturday. Brunswick was bounced from the tournament after falling 9-4 to Winchester on Sunday.
Virginia State Police hosting free motorcycle event
HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Virginia State Police are hosting a free motorcycle self-assessment course.
