Culpepper and Merriweather Circus returns to Glenwood
(Glenwood) -- The circus is once again coming to town in Glenwood this weekend. As part of a biennial tradition, the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus returns to Glenwood Lake Park on August 31st and September 1st, with showtimes at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on both days. Bob Cummings with the Glenwood Rotary Club and "Skeeter the Clown" are among the individuals helping promote this weekend's circus. Speaking on KMA's "Morning Show" recently, Skeeter says the circus has various acts, including Leo the Clown and the Loyal Family putting on an equestrian show.

Offutt air show makes adjustments in light of weather, logistics difficulties
BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - Offutt Air Force Base made adjustments in the wake of Saturday’s difficulties, a statement said Monday. Efforts were made to improve the flow of traffic for the shuttle service that Offutt provided for guests at the air show, and the statement says they cleared out the base after the show by 5:30 p.m.

Police search for robbery suspects after botched vehicle sale in northeast Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police say two robbery suspects are still on the loose after a vehicle sale gone wrong in northeast Lincoln Sunday evening. According to LPD, officers were sent to the area of 48th and Adams on a report of a robbery a little after 7:30 p.m. Police say the robbery happened during, “a pre-arranged meeting for the sale of a vehicle.”

Campaign underway to aid Humboldt nursing home
(KLZA)-- The Citzen Support Group in Humboldt has laid out a plan to help raise funds to support the Colonial Acres Nursting Home in Humboldt. Sunday night a framework of the Citizen Support Campaign was agreed to. A broad-based community support initiative is moving forward to help with the post covid cash flow challenge, faced by the nursing home in Humboldt, with a goal of returing the facility to having a sustainable cash flow by January 1, 2025.
