Man arrested after 44 pounds of methamphetamine recovered during traffic stop in Rankin County
RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) - A man has been arrested after around 44 pounds of methamphetamine was discovered in his truck in Rankin County. Around 5:55 p.m. on Monday, the Rankin County Criminal Interdiction Deputy Shack conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Truck on Interstate 20 for a traffic violation.

New mural unveiled on Broadway Drive in Hattiesburg
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - The City of Hattiesburg unveiled a new mural on Broadway Drive Monday morning. The mural was painted by 18-year-old Aubri Sparkman, and it is the 54th in the city. Sparkman grew up in the Hub City and said this was her inspiration while painting the mural.
