Mr. Erich Paul Wolfe , age 58, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

He was born on June 18, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of the late Rosewith Geisler and James Norman Wolfe.

Since 2010, Terra has been his anchor, confidante, and partner in every step of life’s adventure. They finally sealed their love in marriage on December 30, 2021 – a celebration of their unbreakable bond.

Wolfe’s love for his family was unwavering and pure, and he cherished every second spent with them – especially his three children | Jesse, Katie, and Taylor. His connection with his children was particularly strong, and he took great joy in watching them grow and develop their own unique personalities. He relished in their laughter, their curiosity, and their quirks, and felt an overwhelming sense of pride and responsibility in being a father to them. His son, Jesse, brought a whirlwind of excitement and non-stop energy, constant jokes and pranks that kept him on his toes.

He was an outstanding man, equally devoted to his family and his work. Jesse often expressed his admiration for his father, wishing he could be just like his dad. His daughter, Katie, infused calmness and serenity with her gentle nature — he would always call Katie “his little girl”. Katie and Jesse mention that their dad was “always right” and they could “always count on him” – they had such a level of respect and admiration for their father’s authority and guidance.

He played a significant role in shaping their values and morals. Wolfe’s pride in his son, Taylor’s accomplishments was a deep and abiding one, despite not being able to be there for his childhood. He would often reminisce about the times they spent together, having family gatherings together and having deep conversations, and felt grateful that his son had grown into a responsible and successful individual who owned his own business.

Wolfe held each of his many grandchildren dear, earning the endearing title of “Poppy”. All of the grandchildren knew “Poppy” had the magical touch – and could repair all that was broken.  He sowed the seeds of love and wisdom into the children’s lives, which will continue to influence their lives forever. His family was his most precious possession, and he cherished every moment with them.

Wolfe had a very large and loving extended family, which included many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews, provided a sense of stability and roots and offered a sense of belonging and a strong foundation. His tight-knit circle of friends, whom he considered to be his own family, brought excitement and adventure to his life, introducing him to new experiences, shared laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Wolfe’s love for nature was multifaceted. Since high school he had two passions that brought him a sense of joy and fulfillment. His motorcycles with their sleek designs and powerful engines, allowed him to feel the rush of freedom as he sped down the highway, the wind whipping through his hair and the sun beating down on his face. He enjoyed riding with friends and family members, but especially loved when Terra was on the back of his motorcycle. He once said a motorcycle was his first “car”.

Meanwhile, his fishing trips provided a more serene experience, as he sat quietly on his boat, waiting for a bite, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature and the gentle lapping of the waves. Whether on two wheels or casting a line, Wolfe felt most at peace in the great outdoors, where he could connect with his family and friends, or even just to relax and clear his mind.

Wolfe’s remarkable career journey at BELFOR is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and adaptability, as he rose from a subcontractor in 2005 to become a Project and Operations Manager.

Throughout his tenure, he showcased exceptional leadership skills, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues, who not only viewed him as a capable and competent boss but also as a caring friend. His ability to build strong relationships and always complete the job made him a beloved figure in the company.

Wolfe is survived by wife, Terra Marhea Dugger Wolfe; daughters, Katie Wolfe, Jennifer Hockaday (Michael), Katelyn Wampler (Leo), and Sarah Wampler (Courtney); sons, Taylor Moore (Amanda), Jesse Wolfe (Kalee), and Nathan Wampler (Amanda); sister, Sonya Delarosa; brothers, Michael Wolfe, Jamie Barton (Tara), Rudy Vasquez, Eric Vasquez, Jason Hatcher; grandchildren, Lane, Kaleigh, Gabriel, Rhealynn, Sebastian, River, Lukas, Eli, Skylar, Hunter, and Whitney.
