UGA adds new campus security measures
The University of Georgia is introducing several new campus safety measures, including increased lighting, emergency call buttons, Campus Safety Ambassadors and more. The university has invested $7.3 million in new security systems this year, adding to the more than $16 million spent over the past eight years on campus security, bringing UGA’s total investment in safety and security enhancements during that time to more than $23 million.
