JASPER COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) - About 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning reports of a rollover crash north of Carthage, Mo. alerted Jasper County E-911.

Jasper County Deputies, EMS and Fire responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.

On scene we learn a southbound tractor trailer loaded with 41,000 pounds of frozen potatoes overturned to the right of the roadway. It traveled so far it blocked the west outer road just south of Dry Fork Creek.

The top of the box trailer had burst open and all the contents, diced potatoes, scattered the ditch.

The driver was already out of the vehicle as authorities arrived. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was being checked out at a hospital.
