FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Three employers based in the Ozarks are ranked in TIME Magazine’s inaugural “ Best Mid-Size Companies ” list.

To determine the top-performing employers, TIME and market research firm Statista looked at U.S.-based companies that made between $100 million and $10 billion in revenue in the previous full year.

The companies were scored on positive revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency.

Springfield-based Jack Henry came in at 239th on the list, making the financial service company the sixth-best employer in Missouri. They were one of the 55 companies in the “Banking & Financial Services” category to make the list.

Leggett & Platt, a manufacturing company headquartered in Carthage, Missouri, placed #345 on the list. The ranking put them as the ninth-best employer based in Missouri.

“Being recognized as a top-performing company based on these categories is an honor that underscores the impact of our collective efforts throughout the organization,” Arvest Chief People Officer Laura Andress said. “It’s a distinction that reflects our deep commitment to the success of our associates, customers and community.”

Cass Information Systems, headquartered in St. Louis, was the highest-ranked Missouri-based employer at #72. Amdocs, Ameren, Arch Resources and H&R Block round out the top five.

Two other Arkansas-based companies also made the list, with the Fort Smith-based ArcBest coming in at #61 and Little Rock-based Dilliards coming in at #367.

In the United States, Workday, ServiceNow, Ally Financial, Ralph Lauren and Airbnb were the top five best midsize companies.
