Carson Wentz avoided an injury walking to Chiefs camp and Patrick Mahomes wouldn't let him hear the end of it
Carson Wentz has had some rough injury luck during his NFL career, and he never regained his MVP-caliber form after a 2017 ACL tear with the Eagles. But nothing would have topped getting injured while walking *to* training camp. That’s nearly what happened on Sunday. But Wentz can be thankful...
How can Kansas City fix its broken housing market? It will take some big changes
Housing has become increasingly expensive in recent years, and Kansas City isn't immune: Rents here are among the fastest rising in the country, and housing stock is scarce, making for intense competition for prospective buyers. FIRST WARN FORECAST: Chance for rain dwindles as heat returns
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Sunday turned out to be a spectacular day! Most of us were in the upper 70s and lower 80s in the afternoon. We do have a few isolated showers/thunderstorms that will be possible through early evening, but this activity is more miss than hit. Many of us will stay dry. If you are loving this cooler stretch, we do have one more day in the lower 80s before the temperatures climb later this week. Monday morning starts in the lower 60s, with lower 80s in the afternoon. There is another 20% chance for a pop-up shower or random rumble, but that is about it. No severe thunderstorm threat. The main weather story after Monday will be the gradual climb of temperatures back to late July standards. We are expecting mid-80s Tuesday and Wednesday with a return to the upper 80s by the end of this next week. Generally, no major heat is expected, but we could climb into the lower 90s for some next weekend. Moderate humidity could allow for it to feel slightly hotter than our actual air temperatures. There is no great chance of rain in the next week, so things could turn a little crispy through the end of July. Some of our computer models are hinting at a much hotter start to August.

Chiefs give biggest headache an intriguing lifeline
There's no need to rehash every instance over the past year and a half in which wide receiver Kadarius Toney has caused virtually everyone in or around the Kansas City Chiefs organization to pinch the bridge of their nose in dismay and pain. Of course, the most egregious incident was lining up offside against the Bills to nullify what would've been the game-winning touchdown pass on a trick play.

Following a serious shoulder injury last fall, CB Kamal Hadden feels good to get back in the swing of things at KC Chiefs training camp. At long last, the Kansas City Chiefs' first full-team training camp practice of 2024 is here. Before that, though, general manager Brett Veach's rookie class got a chance to work during the week and continue adjusting to life as pros.

Dismal viewership numbers and brutal 2023 season create lethal Cardinals concoction
There's a scene in an episode of "The Simpsons" called "Itchy & Scratchy & Marge" where, because of the declining quality of their beloved "Itchy & Scratchy" cartoon, the kids of Springfield engage in other activities and enjoy spending time outdoors with their peers. With viewership of the St. Louis Cardinals at an all-time low because of the mess that is the state of Bally Sports and televised baseball at large, the Cardinals could be nearing a point of no return when it comes to attracting eyes.
