HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, around midnight last evening, Barnstable Police squad cars scrambled toward The Vape Way smoke shop at 11 Enterprise Road for a burglary in progress. Two individuals had just smashed the glass front door and were being watched on surveillance cameras as they entered the business. The two suspects had managed to flee the area just moments before cops arrived, one on a bicycle, the other on a scooter. About 10 minutes into the investigation, a patrolman searching the nearby area of Independence Drive radioed he was attempting to stop two males fitting the description of their burglary suspects. A number of officers quickly responded to the intersection of Independence Drive and Communication Way to assist. The suspects turned out to be two 13-year-old males.
