Unemployment in Fall River Rises in June
The unemployment rate in the City of Fall River in June rose to 5.6%, up from 5.4% in May. The Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development reports that the labor force in Fall River in June totaled 42,018 employees. 2,373 people were recorded as unemployed. The 5.6% unemployment rate for June compares to the 5.0% unemployment rate for June 2023.

Rehoboth residents voiced their concerns on the state’s MBTA law at Wednesday’s Planning Board meeting.
