Salt & Straw opens new location in Gilbert
PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Salt & Straw, an Oregon-based artisanal ice cream shop, opened a new location at the Epicenter in Gilbert on Friday. The shop is known for its innovative flavor combinations and rotating monthly menus. Cousins Kim and Tyler Malek co-founded it in 2011. Since then, they have grown Salt & Straw from a mobile ice cream cart to a country-wide chain.
