Local Rite Aid stores to close

The company began bankruptcy filings this past fall due in part to litigation related to the opioid crisis. Since declaring bankruptcy, Rite Aid has reportedly closed more than 500 stores nationwide with fewer than two dozen locations in Michigan still remaining .
