It's been 18 days since tragedy rocked the community when a lone gunman pulled up to the splash pad and opened fire on children and families. Nine people were shot but all have survived. Anchor Bay Triathlon returning to New Baltimore
Competitors from near and far will soon converge in downtown New Baltimore for the annual Anchor Bay Triathlon. Now in its 39th year, the race includes a half-mile swim in Lake St. Clair, an 11-mile bike and a 3-mile run to the finish line. This year’s event is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. July 13 at Walter and Mary Burke Park. The registration deadline has been extended to July 5.
