Personal Injury Collision in Kingfisher Sends One to the Hospital
A personal injury collision reported in Kingfisher County a half a mile south of Cashion has sent one person to the hospital. Colton Wayne George, 22, was headed southbound on East 850 Rd. in his 1996 Chevrolet Silverado with his passenger Kyle Brian Gray, 21, at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right, struck a ditch and an AT&T underground cable pole and came to rest on its side.
Mother of Jail Inmate Who Died Behind Bars Wants Answers
A group outspoken against the Oklahoma County Jail is once again raising concerns after they say four inmates have died behind bars this year. Thursday, a group calling themselves the "People's Council for Justice Reform" was joined by the mother of an inmate who died behind bars earlier this year.
History has been made at Okarche Lutheran church
A cornerstone of Okarche, the church has stood for more than 100 years. It is the oldest Lutheran establishment in what is now Oklahoma. The St. John’s Lutheran Church, with its towering parapets and the three arched entryways to the wooden front doors was completed and opened in 1922. The church opened to the first Lutheran congregation in what was then the Unassigned Lands.

In a 4-1 vote last month, the Edmond City Council denied a proposed wastewater treatment agreement with Logan County Rural Water District 1 (LCRWD1) following concerns raised by The Edmond Alliance about incentivizing development outside city limits, potentially decreasing sales tax revenue.
