The home-field advantage didn’t work out as well as hoped Friday, as the Green River American Legion baseball team fell 2-1 to Lovell in the opening game of the A West District Baseball Tournament. CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Waking up this morning, you may have noticed when trying to boot up your computer, you were met with a blue screen. The issue is believed to have started from a security update from the cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, which is meant to prevent online hacking. Early Friday morning, a line of new code sent to computers that run Microsoft Windows started to crash, which caused worldwide fallout, including canceled flights around the world, 911 emergency outages, banks, courts, and hospitals have all been disrupted. The global outage has taken no prisoners across the country, which includes the Cowboy state.

She’s a bonafide cowgirl and sixth generation rancher, who studied art, then equine dentistry, and cowboyed the Idaho-Nevada border before returning to her home state of Wyoming. She’s also insatiably curious, loves learning and is always ready to meet a new challenge with a pragmatic, can-do, never-quit attitude.
