Caden Will Wins Overall Supreme Champion Market Hog

(Atlantic) Caden Will topped the Cass County 4H and FFA Swine Show on Sunday with the overall Supreme Champion Market Hog with his barrow, Victor. Will’s barrow weighed 250 pounds and gained an average of 1.42 pounds per day.
Caden Will will return to the “Best of the West Show” in Denison on Wednesday, July 31.
Grant Petty of Washington G.E.M. showed the Overall Grand Champion 4-H Market Hog and finished second to Will in the Finals.
Qunicy Robinson of Washington G.E.M. showed the overall Supreme Champion Breeding Gilt and qualified for the “Best in the West” Show on Wednesday, July 31.
The FFA Showmanship division began at 7:30 a.m. Grant Petty of the Atlantic FFA won the title, and Maddy Anderson of the Atlantic FFA was the Reserve Champion. BrookLynne Peterson of the Griswold FFA displayed the Grand Champion Pen of three, and Carter Witzman of the Atlantic FFA showed the reserve. Grant Petty displayed the Grand Champion FFA Market Gilt, and BrookLynne Peterson showed the reserve. Will exhibited the Grand Champion Market Barrow, while Petty showed the reserve. Will returned and won Grand Champion over FFA Market Hog. Maddy Anderson displayed the FFA Grand Champion Breeding Gilt, and Will showed the reserve.
