Cass County Deputies Seize 2 Pounds of Meth Destined for Leech Lake Reservation
(Pine River, MN) -- Two people are jailed in Cass County after two pounds of methamphetamine was found in their vehicle. Deputies say the car was stopped Wednesday in rural Pine River and a K-9 detected the drugs during a search. A 58-year-old woman and 73-year-old man from Longville were arrested. Investigators say the large amount of meth was going to be sold on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. The suspects' car was seized by authorities.
