Update: Flash flood warning for Cambria County Thursday evening
On Thursday at 5:13 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated flash flood warning in effect until 7 p.m. for Cambria County. "At 5:13 p.m., local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing flooding in Johnstown and vicinity. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring," says the weather service. "Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses."
