Osgood Elementary Administrator Cleared to Return to Work
A West Fargo area elementary school administrator is returning to his job after an investigation into physical altercations with students. Osgood Elementary Assistant Principal Joshua Dahl was placed on administrative leave after accusations of touching and aggressive grabbing of students. The West Fargo School District and state authorities performed an investigation. The report released this week says they found those accusations mostly valid and that Dahl violated policy, but that no abuse or negligence towards students was committed. In one incident, Dahl bruised a student who the district says was biting and punching him. The report also notes many students, faculty, and staff who are opposed to Dahl’s actions. He will be placed on an improvement plan and will return to Osgood Elementary this fall.
