Piers Morgan Apologizes To Jay-Z & Beyoncé After Getting Checked For Jaguar Slander

The Carters are not playing. Piers Morgan has apologized to Jay-Z and Beyoncé for letting controversial singer and conspiracy theorist onto his platform and spew what they say are “totally false” claims aka lies, allegedly.

Just about everyone with any modicum of common sense furrowed their eyebrows in “hope he’s got a lawyer?” when there was Jaguar Wright on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored . Her interview featured plenty of what you can expect; claims of being aware of Diddy’s nefarious behavior for years, while throwing in names of celebs who haven’t been crebily accused of such crimes, much less indicted—in this particular case, Jay and Bey. She called the couple “monsters” with hundred of “victims.”

“Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during that interview,” said Morgan at the start of his latest Uncensored . “As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview.”

She also had smoke for DJ Vlad , but that’s neither here nor there.

Well, Morgan was forced to eat crow. Not only did he put out a video statement copping pleas and apologizing, he also edited the footage to remove any reference to the Carters. “Editing interviews is not something we do lightly on a show called Uncensored . But, like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too,” added Morgan. “And we apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.”

And that’s why their lawyers are well paid.
