Highway 126 Water Main Break Prompts Partial Off-Ramp Closure

A water main break on a Highway 126 offramp in Castaic prompted the partial closure of the roadway by emergency responders Friday afternoon.

Around 11:42 p.m., on Friday, first responders received reports of a water main break at the intersection of Commerce Center Drive and the westbound offramp of Highway 126, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The off-ramp from  State Route-126 westbound to Commerce Center Drive is set to be closed to allow for repairs, added CHP officials.

The cause of the break is unknown and is currently under investigation.
