Author Debra Spark to speak in Northeast Harbor on July 31
NORTHEAST HARBOR — Maine author Debra Spark will speak about her new novel, "Discipline," at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31 at the Northeast Harbor Library. Inspired by real events, "Discipline" tells the story of a trio of paintings that go missing from an art collection on a Maine island, while weaving between eras to examine the discipline of art and the art of discipline.

Bar Harbor Food Pantry’s Fill the Criterion July 24
The Bar Harbor Food Pantry in conjunction with The Criterion Theatre are hoping that you will fill the Criterion with food this Wednesday, July 24th from 2 to 4 p.m. Food may be dropped off from 2-4 p.m. Any financial contributions will be matched by the Witham Family Charitable Trust up to $50,000 and will be devoted to the pantry's relocation to their new location at 34 Kennebec Place.
