Stags Announce 2024-25 MAAC Schedule
EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 men's basketball season. Fairfield University will play 10 MAAC games at Leo D. Mahoney Arena as a part of its 20-game league slate. The MAAC schedule will remain at 20 games this season in the newly expanded 13-team conference. Fairfield will play a traditional home-and-home with eight league foes. Additionally, the Stags will host Canisius and Niagara but do not make the conference's "Buffalo Trip" and will travel to Saint Peter's and Siena, while neither the Peacocks nor the Saints will visit Mahoney Arena....
Small sea plane crashes in Hudson River near Dutchman's Landing, no injuries
CATSKILL, NY (WRGB) — Catskill Police and other agencies are investigating after a small sea plane reportedly crashed into the Hudson River Thursday afternoon. The Catskill Police Department received a report at approximately 5:00 P.M. of a small sea plane, that landed in the Hudson River in the area of Dutchman’s Landing, which was having some mechanical issue. Upon arrival patrols found a single engine 1965 Lake LA-4 sea plane that had crashed into the Hudson River.
