Black Hills Roundup Celebration Underway
BELLE FOURCHE—The 105th Black Hills Roundup 4th of July Celebration is underway! The action packed salute to Independence Day includes PRCA rodeos, fireworks, music concerts, carnival rides and parade floats. The celebration relies on the community’s help. According to Dallas Conner, Chairman of the Black Hills Roundup Board, “There are over 400 volunteers this year.”

{KXLG – South Dakota} South Dakota alumna Tori DePerry has signed a professional contract with CP Natação in Portugal, joining the team in the country’s top division. DePerry’s signing marks a significant achievement for the Coyotes, as she becomes the first alumna from South Dakota to play professionally in Portugal since Tempestt Wilson in 2013-14.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - City offices will be closed and most operations and services will not be available next Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Rapid City’s annual fireworks display will take place on Thursday, July 4 at about 9:30 p.m. at Executive Golf Course. The Rapid City Municipal Band will perform its annual holiday concert before the fireworks display, starting at 8 p.m. at the Memorial Park Band Shell.

ABERDEEN, SD (Press Release) HOLIDAY GARBAGE CHANGE: Due to the 4th of July Holiday observance on Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th, City garbage and recycling pick-up will change. Residents who normally have their garbage picked up on Thursday are asked to have their garbage out for pick-up by 7:00 AM, Wednesday, July 3rd. Residents who normally have their garbage picked up on Friday are asked to have their garbage out for pick-up by 7:00 AM, Monday, July 8th. Both Wednesday’s and Thursday’s garbage will be picked up on Wednesday and both Friday’s and Monday’s garbage will be picked up on Monday. Dependable Sanitation will be picking up both Thursday’s and Friday’s recycling on Friday.
