Stony Point Woman Detained Overnight In Catawba County
Probation and Parole Officers in Catawba County arrested a Stony Point woman overnight. 21-year old Aaliyah Nicole Williams was charged with multiple probation violations. She is also charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams is being held in the Catawba County Jail with bond set at $10,000.

Hickory Woman Detained By Alexander County Sheriff’s Office
A Hickory woman was arrested on Sunday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Melanie Amanda Greene, age 43, was served Catawba County warrants for felony insurance fraud and felony larceny. She has been released from custody under a secured bond of $15,000. Greene was scheduled to appear in Catawba County Superior Court on Monday.

Hickory Woman Charged With Drug Offenses, Probation Violation
23-year-old Celestine Mae Bryant of Hickory was arrested last Thursday (July 11) by Probation & Parole Officers. She’s charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell & deliver meth, felony probation violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bryant was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $8,000 bond. A Superior Court date is set for August 22.
