Kitten Who Is ‘Biggest Cuddler’ Abandons His Human to Snuggle With Dog

Late last month, a pet parent posted an adorable TikTok video that melted netizens’ hearts. In the video, a tiny kitten abandoned his owner to waddle to his dog brother, snuggling up and snoozing the day away together. However, what made the social media post cuter was the Golden Retriever dog being several times bigger than the kitten he was cuddling with.

Watching furry friends form precious bonds is always heartwarming, and this kitten is achieving the same one cuddle at a time. Felines can sleep for a long time, and the tabby named Monkey discovered his canine brother was the best spot for a nap. However, the cuddle bug doesn’t only snuggle up with Golden Retriever Kai, as his owner has previously found him cozied up with other dogs, cats, and also deer.

In the video, the tabby kitten abandoned his owner and went seeking comfort from Kai. All three of them were lazing on their couch when the feline suddenly decided to up and leave Brown to bury himself in the Golden Retriever’s coat. After waiting a few seconds for the dog to acknowledge him, the kitten cuddled with the pup. The canine groomed his tiny feline friend briefly before returning to his napping.

The pet owner who the kitten abandoned, Lorrie Brown, told Newsweek that Monkey is the “biggest cuddler.” He nuzzles up with all the family’s animals and has also snuggled up with local deers who visit the family’s property. The kitty has since grown up and is a happy 3-year-old tabby. At the time of posting the video, Brown wasn’t even sure about the kitten’s sex, thinking Monkey was a female feline.

Brown’s TikTok account @brownhikingtrails is best known for its dog, cat, and deer content, with the animals often interacting with each other. Moreover, she frequently goes hiking with them, showcasing the scenic hiking trails around her rural community. While the kitten is now a 3-year-old, the pet parent often finds him snuggled with a dog, cat, or deer.
